Schools, daycares, locker rooms, camps, and dance studios are all common locations for children to ʻcatchʻ lice.  The close proximity they have to one another creates the ideal environment for these pesky little critters to make their way from head to head causing an outbreak to occur.  If one child has lice, it is easy for it to spread to another.

If you are the owner or manager of an organization please contact us to book your group screening so infestations like these do not occur.

in-home lice screenings and removal

Head check: $25 per person (cost will be waived if lice/nits are found and service is provided)

$10 per additional person in the same family/household (cost will be waived if lice/nits are found and service is provided)

Removal Service: $80/hour tax included

The Lice Lady provides individual screenings and treatment services in the comfort of your own home! Our trained technicians will arrive in an unmarked vehicle and come fully equipped to handle your service in a professional and friendly manner.   After confirming the presence of lice, we will apply our ʻfree-fromʻ leave in conditioner and then manually comb out the lice and nits, section by section.  We will then blow dry the hair and complete a second screening.

After all services have been provided, our technicians will provide you with both after care and preventive tips for your home and environment.  We will also leave you with the National Pediculosis Societyʻs own Licemeister comb used during the service FREE of charge to help you with aftercare. Aftercare is essential in order to guarantee successful eradication!

After treatment, the child(ren) will be given a lice clearance certificate in order to return to school.

In order to guarantee that the head is "clear”, we offer a follow-up service approximately 2-4 days after initial treatment, A Lice Lady technician will return to your home for a follow-up check for all members of the household and to discuss further aftercare if required.

The technician will provide additional treatment at a reduced rate if needed.
